Andersen Enrichment Center – Seasonal Details

While the greatest focus of THOR*tography is documentary wedding and portrait photography there is this small piece that includes more fine art works and special personal projects. Recently I was invited to exhibit at the Andersen Enrichment Center in Saginaw, MI. While nothing beats seeing framed photography in person, hopefully this little virtual exhibit will give you a taste of the show.

Artist Statement:

This collection of photographs spans the spring, summer, fall and winter. There is a certain distinctness in the nature of each of these seasons that is obvious to any observer, but each is also full of small details that are easy to miss or take for granted because they are more difficult to see or are so common they are rarely reflected upon. I wanted to illustrate some of the finer points of the seasons and interrupt common notions of what each offers while still leaving elements of familiarity

Special thanks to my wife and kids for all the love and support and tolerating me bringing my camera everywhere. My parents for always knowing I was an artist. Brian Krupp and Olivia DeHart for help with framing. Marsha Braun for the invitation to make this happen.
